A Tribute to Tabou----10/31/08-1/10/10

The above photos are of the very sweet and beautiful Tabou of Cotonnelle. He left this world way before his time. Please be careful who you entrust with your dogs.
This is a very sad story about a beautiful little Coton boy, who went to live with his Groomer nearby to continue his socialization with someone that he absolutely adored.
This long time groomer would come to Valerie Ford's home to help with the grooming and Tabou would just lay underneath the grooming table to be close to this woman that he loved so much.
The Groomer was given a lead and was told to "NEVER LET HIM OFF LEAD, EVER"!!
Both the Groomer and her Husband showed just how irresponsible they were by letting Tabou out without a lead. The Groomer wasn't home at the time, but she is just as responsible for Tabou's untimely death. Shortly afterwards, Tabou was hit by a car and died of his injuries.

I am not there

    I AM NOT THERE

    Do not stand at my grave and weep;
    I am not there. I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow.
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
    I am the gentle autumn's rain.
    When you awaken in the morning's hush,
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry;
    I am not there, I did not die.

The Eulogy

    THE EULOGY

    Look not where I was
    For I am not there
    My spirit is free
    I am everywhere

    In the air that you breathe
    In the sounds that you hear
    Don't cry for me Mom
    My spirit is near

    I'll watch for you
    From the other side
    I'll be the one running
    New friends by my side

    Smile at my memory
    Remember in your heart
    This isn't the end
    It's a brand new start
